Notes:
"Lecture 5 of this series -his Honour delves into how the requirement of knowledge and approval in the context of wills "arrived on the scene" as judge-made law in the 1860s and remained on the rule books until 1972. Since 2013 it only applies to blind and illiterate testators. His Honour concludes by observing that taking an historical approach to the development of a rule demonstrates the importance of considering the law in
its full context and that this type of contextual understanding ultimately leads to better advocacy."
