Where a law firm has previously acted for a party, but has obtained no relevant confidential information, there may not be a conflict of interest if it subsequently acts against that party. Family law - Alleged conflict of interest - (R4820: November 2013) Where a firm acts for one spouse in property matters it is not then prevented from acting for that spouse in subsequent matter
